Medicare Advantage Plans
Cover the same benefits as Original Medicare, plus these plans add benefits such as hearing and vision coverage. You can include prescription drug coverage if you like. These are a good choice for you if you would like the security of added benefits above and beyond your basic Medicare coverage.
Aetna Medicare Advantage Plans offer you a choice of two types of care— health maintenance organizations (HMOs) or preferred provider organizations (PPOs).
HMO plans, such as the Aetna Golden Medicare Plan®, offer lower premiums and more services than Medicare because they operate within a network of providers. These plans come with or without prescription drug coverage.
PPO plans, such as the Aetna Golden Choice™ Plan, give you the freedom to see a doctor outside of the network, for an increased fee. All PPO plans come with prescription drug coverage.
